Itinerary
Kalimármaro
We begin our overview of Athens by the “Panathenaic Stadium” or “Kalimarmaro” which has been the Olympic stadium of antiquity, reformed for the first modern Olympic games in 1896, held in Athens.
Temple of Zeus
We continue to pass in front of the temple of “Olympian Zeus”, which was the largest temple in the Hellenic world dedicated to Zeus, with the “Arch of Hadrian” welcoming his entrance.
Syntagma Square
We then reach the square of Syntagma (Constitution Square) where the Greek parliament is located with the monument dedicated to the “Unknown Soldier”
Omonoia Square
Passing through Omonia Square, the second most important square in Athens, we reach the Acropolis.
Acropolis
The Parthenon contemplating Athens at 360º, a symbol of democracy, and the golden years of Pericles thrills every visitor.
