Cultural circuit tour in Delphi and Meteora of two days. It starts from Athens, continuing in Delphi where the archaeological site of Delphi and the Museum of Delphi are visited. When you finish the visit to Delphi you will have free time for lunch. Then exit towards Kalambaka and the Monasteries of Meteora where you will spend the night and the following day you will visit the Monasteries and then return to Athens.
An ideal trip to meet two of the most important places of worship in Greece. Accompanied by a specialized guide we will explore Central Greece, in search of archaeological treasures of Delphi and Meteora Monasteries crowning the tops of the giant rocks of Meteora.
Delphi, considered the center of the earth by the ancient Greeks. There, a priestess named Pythia transmitted prophecies which were inspired by the god of Light and Sun, Apollo.
The Monasteries of Meteora combine spirituality and grandeur of nature so as to offer the visitors an unforgettable experience.
After this journey through time and after traveling through some of the most important and beautiful places in Greece, we head back to Athens with a short stop at Thermopylae.
Itinerary
Day 1: Delphi
Breakfast and departure to Delphi, our trip will last about two hours. At Delphi we will visit the archaeological site, the theater, the Castalia fountain, the old stadium where the Panhellenic games were held, the Temple of Apollo and the Archaeological Museum of Delphi.
In the afternoon we will depart to Kalambaka where we will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 2: Meteora
Breakfast and departure to visit the monasteries of Meteora to admire these fascinating rock formations on the top of which are built the monasteries we are going to visit.
After the visit we will depart back to Athens.

It is advisable to wear:

- hat
- sunglasses
- sunscreen
