Lasithi

The region of Lasithi (Lassithi), is the most eastern and least mountainous of Crete. In Lassithi you will find: the mythical palm forest of Vai, the Gulf of Mirabello, windmills on the Lassithi Plateau, beaches bathed by crystal clear waters, beautiful villages and luxury hotel complexes. All of them form a fascinating world that awaits you to discover.

Agios Nikolaos

Agios Nikolaos on the Gulf of Mirabello, is the capital of the Lasithi region. The city is built around Lake Voulismeni, neoclassical buildings, bars and typical restaurants surround the lake and create an ideal environment to take a walk and get to know this beautiful city.

Elounda and Spinalonga

Elounda is known for its coves, it is a pretty village with fishing port, is the most cosmopolitan resort of Crete, attracts thousands of visitors every year who seek to relax and spend their holidays in luxury hotels. The natural beauties of Elounda bay together with the first class services offered by its luxurious hotels have made it the favorite destinations among celebrities and world leaders.

Spinalonga is an arid and barren rocky islet with an area of ​​8.5 hectares located at the mouth of the natural harbor of Elounda. The island forms a natural “defense mechanism” for Elounda port. In 1579 the Venetians built a mighty fortress here on the ruins of an ancient acropolis.

Spinalonga is also known as the island of the lepers as it is where the lepers of Crete and all Greece were put quarantine from 1905 to 1957.

Ierapetra

Ierapetra is the southernmost city in Europe, off the coast of Africa. Its magnificent natural beauty make it ideal to rest and enjoy the sea and the mountains.

The beaches of Ierapetra are dreamy, Livadakia is one of the best organized beaches in the area when Apovathra is the best for water sports. The most isolated are Livadi and Peristera.

The most important attraction of Ierapetra is Gaidouronissi or Chryssi. A small island with crystal clear waters and white sand about an hour by boat from Ierapetra.
